About Us: The Story Behind Apex TCG Show

Welcome to the Apex TCG Show! We aren’t just event coordinators—we are a family that fell head-over-heels in love with the trading card community, and we are on a mission to share that excitement with you.

How It All Started

It all began very recently when Nick Tang and his kids, Ethan and Evan, walked into their very first Trading Card Game (TCG) event. Going into it, they didn't quite know what to expect. But the moment they stepped inside, they were hooked.

They saw the unmatched energy in the room, the friendly smiles of collectors trading stories, the deep focus of players locked in strategy, and that undeniable "thrill of the hunt" when searching for a rare card. Ethan and Evan were mesmerized, and Nick saw something incredibly special: a community built on passion, nostalgia, and fun.

They left that event with full binders, big smiles, and a brand-new family obsession.

Enter The Mystery Collector

Of course, a family hobby this big needs a little bit of magic. Behind the scenes, the Tang family has its very own Mystery Pokémon Collector—the secret weapon of the household who knows exactly how to spot a legendary pull and keeps the family's collection top-tier (even if they prefer to stay in the shadows!).

Our Mission

After that fateful first show, Nick, Ethan, and Evan looked at each other and said, "We need to do this." We decided to jump into hosting TCG events to build the ultimate playground for collectors across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Our goal is simple: to create a safe, high-energy, and welcoming space where seasoned veterans and brand-new families alike can come together to buy, sell, and trade their favorite cards.

Whether you’re hunting for a vintage Charizard, looking for rare secret rares, or just want a cool place to hang out and trade with your kids on the weekend, the Apex TCG Show is built by collectors, for collectors.
