Welcome to the Apex TCG Show! We aren’t just event host—we are a family that fell head-over-heels in love with the trading card community, and we are on a mission to share that excitement with you.

How It All Started: From Sketchbooks to Secret Rares

Our Pokémon journey didn't start in a card shop; it started at the kitchen table. Nick was trying to teach his sons, Ethan and Evan, how to draw. Knowing how much the boys loved Pokémon, Nick offered a fun incentive: “Draw your favorite Pokémon for me, and I’ll buy the artwork from you.” As the sketchbooks filled up, the family's curiosity grew, leading them to buy a few packs of cards. Then came 2020. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, Nick decided to teach the boys a bigger life lesson: the art of manifestation. They put that mindset to the test with their card openings—and it worked. The boys started hitting unbelievable, high-tier pulls, and a small family collection was officially born.

Unmasking the "Mystery Collector"

Every great story needs a twist. While Nick and the boys were busy opening packs, the magic truly took hold of Nick’s wife. Her desire to hunt for rare cards grew into a full-blown passion, internally driving the family to graduate from single packs to entire booster boxes. She became the household's secret weapon—the "Mystery Collector" who knows exactly how to spot a legendary pull and keeps the family's collection top-tier.

The Spark: Our First TCG Show

Recently, during a deep house cleaning, the family realized their "small" collection had grown massive. They decided to head to a local Trading Card Game (TCG) show to see if they could sell some of their extra cards. They didn't quite know what to expect, but the moment they stepped inside, the entire family was hooked. They fell in love with the Buy-Sell-Trade culture. They saw the unmatched energy in the room, the friendly smiles of collectors trading stories, the deep focus of players locked in strategy, and that undeniable "thrill of the hunt." Ethan and Evan were mesmerized, and Nick saw something incredibly special: a community built on passion, nostalgia, and fun. They left that event with empty boxes, full binders, and a brand-new family mission.

Connecting the Dots: 20 Years in the Making

After that fateful show, Nick looked at his family and realized they were perfectly equipped to bring something amazing to the community. While they were new to vending TCGs, they were definitely not new to the event space. Nick and his team bring close to 20 years of experience producing events ranging from intimate gatherings to massive, large-scale expos. Combining three decades of professional event-planning expertise with their newfound, deep love for Pokémon just made perfect sense.

Our Mission

We jumped into hosting TCG events to build the ultimate playground for collectors across the United States. Our goal is simple: to create a safe, high-energy, and welcoming space where seasoned veterans and brand-new families alike can come together.
